The CSA-BoK comprises of various themes of knowledge and skills which a CSA-UK must demonstrate competency in. a Certified Strategy ADVISOR:
- Engaging closely with stakeholders who are responsible for strategic planning and implementing change, providing problem-solving support, and facilitating decision-making and consensus-building as an Active ADVISOR at all levels.
- Personally driving strategic projects / initiatives delivery, generating critical insights and tailoring and delivering effective strategic communications to drive change, through the proactive solicitation and use of information, judgment, problem-solving methodologies and sector knowledge
- Proactively pursuing sources of strategic analytics data and insight needed to complete meaningful analysis and ensure pace of progress and quality of analysis are maintained in line with the expectations of the Shareholders / Stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely and regularly with the Strategy Execution Champions to align on strategic planning, iterating on solutions and finding workarounds as needed.
- Effectively managing the work-streams of others on the team as required, and drive full-team problem-solving
- Closely managing progress against all objectives (Strategic, Tactical & Operational Level), highlighting strategic roadblocks as soon as they arise and taking full personal ownership for high-quality timely delivery
- Give and receive regular developmental feedback and contribute actively to creating a positive, focused and effective team environment
- Adopt a learning mindset and take personal responsibility for continuous performance improvement, and for supporting the ongoing growth and success of the Advisory team against its broader objectives

- Analyse the role of corporate governance within an entity to determine the contribution of a unit in promoting internal organisational codes and ethical practices
- Analyse the specific ethical practices of a unit in different areas with examples
- Select an instrument for analysing individual and organisational conduct in respect of organisational values, codes of conduct and corporate ethics

- Implements, Monitors & Controls different risk categories.
- Recommends methods to manage an organisation’s risk, including risk optimisation, and management of market risk, credit risk, operational and other risks.
