Job Purpose:
The Strategy Planning Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring strategic initiatives to drive the organization’s long-term goals. This role involves conducting market analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring alignment of business activities with the company’s strategic vision. The Strategy Planning Manager works closely with senior management and various departments to ensure the successful implementation of strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Development:
- Lead the development of long-term strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy development.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and potential areas for growth.
Implementation and Execution:
- Develop detailed action plans for implementing strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic plans.
- Monitor and track the progress of strategic initiatives and report on their status to senior management.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze internal and external data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on strategic initiatives and business performance.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed recommendations for strategy adjustments.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather input and ensure buy-in for strategic initiatives.
- Communicate strategic plans and initiatives clearly and effectively across the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, industry experts, and key stakeholders.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Work closely with the finance team to develop financial models and forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance and identify areas for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes related to strategic initiatives.
Project Management:
- Manage strategic projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that project objectives are clearly defined and met.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Continuously seek ways to improve strategic planning processes and methodologies.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualification & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, management consulting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
